A huge stray pit bull wandered onto my property yesterday. It got into the goat pasture where it was confronted by my goat dogs, a great pyrenees female and two aussie shepherd females. The fight was on. The wife was freaking out because "her babies" were gonna get hurt so i got my grendel with the eotech.... i was about 50 yards away. When i got a clear shot, i took it and the pit bull went down like a rock. I shot it in the upper torso just before the neck. My dogs got a few minor cuts and scratches, but seem fine.
Compared to my last killing experience with 3 hogs and my 223, this was a breeze. I love the Grendel... more everyday.
