A lack of POI shift is visually impressive and used in the videos as a metaphor for the quality of the product. Again however, for me I want to see the average group sizes with and without the suppressor attached; so he needs to be firing at two different aiming marks.

The practical aspect of that I see for the PRS guys is transport in the cases. Not many cases will hold the long rifles with the can mounted, and many shooters have to travel back and forth from the range to the hotel each evening/morning.

This kind of performance was really driven by demand from actual long range shooters who want to still be competitive against the top PRS shooters in the Nation, so there is a ton of engineering that goes into them, as well as production techniques.

Another thing that Klem has referred to with runout, that a lot of people overlook, is barrel concentricity. If you have a barrel with an off-centric bore, off-centric threads, or threads that aren't square to the bore, don't expect repeatability, and definitely expect to see some serious POI shift between suppressed and unsuppressed.

These were some of the major problems that TBAC was looking at as competitive shooters, that nobody was really addressing well on the market at the time, especially looking at production approaches to baffle concentricity to the tube. There were and are a lot of ad hoc techniques to attempt concentricity with welded baffles and bores that are a nightmare from a production standpoint.

I don't have a dog in this either way, but I've seen a lot of things behind the scenes with different manufacturers that have formed my perspective, to include European cans.
