Long Range Rifle coming to 3 Gun Nation

That was my first thought.

Mine, too, upon reading the OP. But, my second thought, after watching the video, is maybe not so much.

Since the rules allow gamesmanship ploys like "throwing away shots" at long-range targets (as per 1:40 in the video), it remains to be seen how much of an advantage a Grendel shooter would have.

And that match had only 12 participants. Unless the "Long Range" 3-gun -- er, [SIZE="5"]2[/SIZE]-gun -- matches grow quite a bit, it doesn't seem like it'll be much of a showcase for 6.5 Grendel.
