Thanks for a great write up. I have a Howa HB in .308 with the Hogue stock. It shot well also right out of the box but I dropped the action in a Bell and Carlson Vanguard style stock and groups really tightened up. Easy sub-MOA out to 500 yds so far with Berger 185gr Juggernauts.
