Break in and cleaning

Performing a "break-in" ritual outside of just shooting a new rifle is wasting ammo & barrel wear IMO. I will run a patch through the bore after every round for the first few shots as well as inspect the action for metal debris. There is always the possibility of leftovers from the assembly process or moving parts creating filings. Other than that, I just shoot it.
