On mags: I've seen some rather tight-knit hooahs do behind-the-head simultaneous mag tosses to each other from a prone position during consolidation and reorganization on the Limit Of Advance on an objective during live-fire exercises. The guy that drove the training in that platoon was from 2nd Ranger Battalion, and had also attended SOT with a certain unit. We learned a lot from him...very good dude.
