I'm making an improved version of it from scratch. There are things I really like about the British PLCE, Bundeswehr belt kit pouches, Rhodesian kit, and developments we made ourselves along the way.
I basically have taken a lot of notes on what works well, and incorporated as many helpful aspects of different gear from quality sources into these designs.
The biggest thing I like to address is organization, so that everything has its place, without sacrificing the utility of a pouch with specialization.
Then making it lightweight is the next challenge. Modern materials have come a long way, so some of the thinner fabrics will last just as long as heavier ones from the past.
