Well if you have TAC and Nosler BT, you have a place to start. I have loaded 27gr TAC behind 120gr and 100 gr NBT. OAL about 2.25". Both shot reallly well I used rifle primers and Laupa brass (well under 1" out of a 18 inch barrel). If you site in for 2.5 inchs high @ 100 yards you will hit the deer no more than 3" high or low from 0-past 200 yards. Both bullets should travel @least 10 inches through a deer even after hitting heavy bone. Maybe best to avoid a Texas heart shot. If its a really big northern dear it wont hurt nuthin to double tap him after he is down.
