With due respect, CGCs remark was appropriate; it showed a mindset we need to understand and change if we are to keep our 2nd Amendment rights. Sure, a few bad apples will misuse their Rights(weather that misuse of Rights is to operate a car while intoxicated or a firearm irresponsibility) but it's intolerable someone in authority would try to revoke those rights for us all. We all need to understand that mis use of our Freedoms and Libertys can lead to messy results.. Like car crashes or shootings.,,, We need to further understand and combat the notion that painting us all with such a broad brush is tolerable. The slippery slope here is clear..Millions of people now can not buy firearms because they have a card that says they may use medical marijuana from time to time. I have a different card.. It says I may hunt from time to time. It is inconsistent with the Constitution (and intolerable as well as inconceivable to me )that anyone should revoke either card or limit my liberty, just because someone somewhere behaved illegally or irresponsibility.
