Try searching through old threads. It can be done easily. You can pick up a PSA lower for about $160 if you get on the daily deal emails. Upgrade the trigger, maybe get the RRA NM two stage trigger for about $90. The varmint version has a slightly lighter pull. Any cheap upper will do. You can look at the criterion barrel from precision firearms for about $300 or a BHW barrel for about $230. A nice BCG can be had for $85 and upgrade the bolt to a good quality Grendel bolt for another $80. A BTE adjustable gas block is about $45 IIRC a gas tube is about $12 an you can get an ALG free float handguard for about $110. MI makes one for a bit more and I've heard good things about the UTG pro slim handguard. All these prices are approximate and off the top of my head, but you should have a quality rifle for about $950 with the bulk of your spending going to the important things - a good barrel, good bolt, and good trigger.
