Sure, you could make a Grendel / 6.8 pmag if it did not have to fit in standard mag wells. I'm sure there would be a huge market for that!
From memory I think there is at least one plastic AR-10 mag. (Magpul 20 rd??)wait, I see a market for filler blocks to allow AR-10 mags to be used in grendel barrelled AR-10's.
