Statistics dont support gun control

Stan - I'm a bit disappointed and surprised. I thought you were more thorough than this.

Usually am. Was pressed for time, so quickly scanned the article. Missed that sentence.

Um, perhaps I'm not remembering correctly, but I don't recall the anti-gun crowd ever saying that madmen or Islamic radicals are not a threat.

My recollection of their position is that wide availability of guns enables gun violence, and that reducing/restricting/controlling access to guns would reduce shooting deaths and injuries.

There is some evidence that they are right. Since the 1934 NFA was enacted, murders committed with machine guns seems to have plummeted from when there were no limitations on sale of machine guns to private citizens.
