J&T Distributing which is a sister company to Double Star has a sale on some 16" carbine gas barrels with 1:9 twist in M-4 profile. They sell chrome moley and chrome lined. I believe these are Shaw barrels but my 16" 1:9 twist shoots reall good out to 800 yards. I had MOA or less groups at 600 yards with factory A-Max with a non free floated barrel. You could always send the barrel sent to ADCO and get it shortened.
The J & T barrels use SAAMI spec chambers and they use to get their bolts from AA. These are very inexpensive barrels on sale. Less than $150 and worth checking out. To me they are an ideal barrel to use for shooting Wolf ammo. I'm contemplating ordering another one just to have on hand as a spare.
