Not my argument. Thanks for the clarification. The anti-gunners' argument: Such weapons are used in mass shootings like Orlando, San Bernardino, etc. That's a VERY substantial negative. Only from the anti-2nd Amendment establishment's point-on-view.

I don't see that being overcome by the "positive" of having such rifles for recreational shooting, and self-defense and I haven't been able to think up a good counter-argument. How about, "Never bring a knife to a gun fight."

Re the statement, "Anything that can't be done easily, probably isn't worth doing."

I submit that America's cherished 2nd Amendment is being threatened like never before. It's a tough fight, and I firmly believe that most Americans believe it's worth doing --- I'm glad you're on our side.
