I Google'd "Armed customer stops robbery." I was rewarded with pages and pages of incidents, wherein, a good guy/gal with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun. Here's just one: Armed Customer Stops Holdup at Ocala Internet Cafe (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9RKMtLcacU).

Great arguments for concealed carry of handguns.

Unfortunately, doesn't help justify availability of semi-auto assault rifle variants. Sad
