You've heard that the Chabot Gun Club is being denied a renewal of their lease with the East Bay Regional Parks District? I am told that the hearing was packed with Club supporters, but to no avail against the "noise, lead, and yucky guns" sentiments. http://chabotgunclub.com
Surprisingly Supervisor Nate Miley supported the club. In the 90's, Nate was the source of considerable gun ban activity in Alameda County. Go figure.
