It would help some. A few months ago, I hefted a Plum Crazy lower assembly. With telescoping stock and plastic internals it felt light as the proverbial feather.

An ACE ultralight stock would also further cut weight, as would a non-forward assist upper.

Question is, can such measures actually get the weight down to the 4.0-4.5 pound range, or can they only cut a few ounces?
