A lot of corrupt police chiefs in the South will not sign off on your application, even if the State allows it. The petition needs to read, "For the safety of infants and pregnant women who may be faced with the damaging muzzle report during a life-and-death incident with a violent attacker, these restrictions must be removed now. Sound suppressors are openly-available in Europe and even used in hunting, to prevent noise-encroachment on nearby communities. Let's get the US NFA laws within sensible constraints."

When I go to Finland, suppressors are right on the shelf next to fishing tackle and bait, really.

I signed the petition...so I guess that puts me on the list.

I don't know anything about a petition, but the suppressors in Europe thing is pretty sweet.
