Well that is not easily determined unless I get the chance to see them shoot again at another date, what I achieved was showing them that they must condition themselves to sufficiently handle the adrenaline dump that will occur when someone lights them up.
We did this several times that day and in the end a few showed serious improvements, I think they got the idea of how to settle their breathing and get off controlled shots, not just banging away on the trigger.
The ones that did the best were in better physical condition and or more willing to adapt or adhere to what was being taught.
I noticed that the ones that shot the best in the beginning were not the ones who improved throughout the day, they had shooting experience but all from a rested position.
The other thing that I tried to impart is that when shooting through a barrier or near an object, to not get up on it or project the muzzle through, that gets you identified and shot or has the object creating a hazard when it gets hit by return fire, loopholes are not weapon ports. They need area to maneuver and being that close does not leave room to move, stacking up on a corner is not good either when facing strong opposition, it makes the stack an easy target.
