First I've heard of them. I wonder what they mean when they say, "Nano ceramic bore coating". Otis was marketing a system like this up until last year, with the flashy ads in various gun rags, using the same company that does the ads for Counter Sniper, which is a well-known non-starter. I had Otis scan my badge at 2010 SHOT with a specific request for info on their bore liner ceramic system, but they never followed through, and it seems as if the nano liner treatment has been discontinued with no reason given. Customers were also told that they weren't getting their orders because it was all being sent to the troops in the Middle East.....ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! What a crock! "Hey troops, did you apply your nano-ceramic bore-liner to your M4's at the range this week?" ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
I don't mean to dog the snake oil salesmanship. Maybe Kies actually has a different nano-ceramic metallurgical process that fits into a $218 barrel. If it had a rifle-length gas system, I might even try it.
