that is how it is here in kentucky, dont need to call in the background check. i was also told that it also means that all concieled carry permit holders are checked out every month automatically to make sure they still are able to pass. i dont know how to prove or disprove that or even if i care but i really think that it might thorow off the supposed amount of gun purchases in this state at least.
