as for the takedown model the barrel unscrews and is held in place by a slot with the forend which then clips onto the barrel but to my knowledge none of the takedown models were d&t for scope so you would need one a take down model that someone had already modified for scope or mount irons to the barrel and run a peep or the like again to avoid trashing an original.... and ideal candidate would be a model from the 50s that was factory d&t that had had some sort of misfortune happens to the barrel like dirt in the bore and fired or something i would want the rotary magazine over the later detachable box magazine models
