The barrel is slightly smaller than the .750 gas block with no taper to the muzzle, so the 5/8x24 should work and provide more attachment options.
Another possible way to go? cut to 16" and machine a muzzle brake/flashhider into the barrel end. If I recall another Horde member had this done giving him a 14.5" barrel but still at the minimum 16" overall length. Anyone know we're I might get this done?
