Basically with a 2 stage (any make) you will pull up until you feel a stop (this is the first stage), then the next squeeze (2nd stage) is sending the round downrange. Some people like a 2 stage because they know when the gun will go off. I prefer this over a single stage.
I have not tried the dry fire device, I split the receivers and practice trigger pull using my thumb to catch the hammer and just pull the hammer back to the reset position and pull the trigger again. Easy to do once you get the hang of it. You want to recognize the difference between the 2 stages. Remember...pull up and then squeeze. Don't jerk the trigger thru both stages.
If you are flinching, go to a light single stage that way you will break the flinching habit, not knowing when the round will go off.
I have both the SSAE and the RRA 2stageNM. I like the SSAE better, the RRA is a little gritty and creepy (like my brother-in-law)!
Get used to the RRA before dropping the cash. You may decide you like your single stages over a double stage.
