I do not profess to be an authority on ar triggers, and have used stock triggers with less than satisfactory results as most have. tried one of the "alg " that I thought was worse than the stock unit. Some say a single stage will not hold up to constant use, but I guess my Timmney 3 lb didn't get the memo, it's doing fine after several thousand rounds down range without any adjustment needed. Top tier 2 stage triggers for me allow that last moment sight alignment before hammer drop. I think practice is more important as long as equipment is good. And you can teach yourself to almost disregard the first stage of the pull. I prefer single stage, and have wondered if two stage is better why don't you see them on bolt guns ? Of course the bottom line is you will not be happy untill you reach the level of satisfaction that suits you.
