Gun-Free Zones: The most dangerous places in America

Gun free zones are not the problem in this country but the people themselves. Carrying a firearm should be an encouraged obligation and considered an honorable, respectable practice by any able bodied adult. Morality, civic duty and responsibility should be taught and encouraged from child hood to adulthood. After any attempted shooting the media should be reporting on how many citizens were carrying and a synopsis of the tactics implemented to evaluate the situation both pro and con for further public education. If there were no citizens who were armed there should be media pieces asking why were so many citizens irresponsibly unarmed not spewing more anti gun propaganda pieces showing the evils of inanimate objects and the need for further constitutional restrictions. Self determination and freedom have become a forgotten concept for too many in this country. Gun free zones are just a symptom of the sickness not the problem.

Never send pilgrims into the wild without someone riding shotgun. We know that mental patients and disturbed people are going to look for opportunities to kill, whether they be guys and gals who worship Stalin, or the folks who are just looking to make an impact out of frustration and personal demons in their heads.

Either way, it makes no sense to go out into the wild unprepared. We're insulated by concrete and A/C, but there are still predators out there, both in the public and private sectors.
