I have one of these on my 5.56, and I absolutely love it. Gives a great field of view, and I'm not nice to my weapons in the field... She gets thrown around a bit and smacked hard sometimes. I play like I fight, so my military weapons got the same treatment as mine. I have never lost zero, and never had any equipment issues. I have had the same battery in it since I bought it (4 years ago) and she is strong as ever. I would highly recommend it. I don't think the recoil would be an issue with these.
