There was another gentleman named Roger Cox who I talked with at Butches ceremony who was wounded three times during a 3 day battle with the NVA on hill 121. The story he told me left me speechless. The point I came across more than any from talking to these great men was their unshrinking resolve to help and protect each other without hesitation. There are so many who earned that Silver Star with Butch that never made it back. I'm at a loss for words to describe how I'm feeling right now but all I can say is there are still good people in this country that will never get the recognition due to them. Thank you sincerely to all who have served this country.
