I have known and shot with Butch at our local shooting club for many years now. He is one of the most gentile and helpful shooters I have competed with. He was very patient with my wife when she was new to shooting and they became good friends. Little did I know the history of Butches experience in Vietnam back in 1967 until recently. I just returned from the award ceremony and talked with many vets and I can say I have never been so humbled by so many non assuming elderly men. I just wanted to share Butches accomplishments with the forum and thank all the vets who have served over seas.
