As the story left off, the chamber in the previous build was too tight. Sent the barrel and bolt back and received a refund.
The new barrel and bolt is JP Supermatch, 22" with JP adjustable gas block. Put 5 rds in the mag and manually cycled all through with no probs.
Bore sighted but still have to propel some lead for real.... tune the gas block and dial in the glass.
Grass in the fields is too tall for my normal plinking. Might walk over to the bull's field or visit a friend for some open area. Bull isn't in his field anymore. When a bull wants to get a few pastures over to where the females are .... several off the shelf thin walled pipe gates crumple like an aluminum can.
