I just had the same problem of a "UPS Store" telling me they could not ship a barrel (a return shipment). Supposedly they have to have a FFL to ship? That's what they said. I don't think they made it up. I think they were told this for what ever reason.
Crazy! I mentioned it was not a controlled part requiring an FFL and they could even look it up. But nope, couldn't ship.
Said I had to go to the UPS hub.
So I did.
Comical; the guy a the UPS hub wanted to build and AR and was asking me questions about it.
