I only "hunt" for meat for the freezer and antlers don't concern me much. Don't get me wrong, if I have a chance at a Muy Grande I'll take it but I don't seek them out. Many areas here are overpopulated with white tail so finding land owners that just want a few taken out is not too difficult to find. I tend to use the most efficient method to harvest them mainly because there isn't much challenge in shooting them anyway. Predators are a different story. I hone my "stealth skills" with coyotes, bobcats & foxes.
