I normally hunt from the ground anymore myself, after having a knee blow out several years ago and having it mostly repaired I don't climb trees. After the back and neck went south in the last couple of years I have had to switch from my long bow to a crossbow for archery hunting. Most of the time you will find me in cammo under a tree with my back to it and blending in as best I can, other times I hunt from a blind. Here in Kentucky there are big mostly flat fields, and then steep hills to hunt, flats with no cover finds me in the blind, hills finds me just under a tree. Even if I see nothing I enjoy my time out in the woods and fields just relaxing and enjoying nature.
