I ordered the non-padded version of the VTAC sling which set me back about $40 with shipping yesterday. I have not shot much other than from a bench, so I'll work on practicing with the sling. I'm a newbie to this sport..... one of those 2008 post-election statistics....... hence my basic questions

Mutt I read your post about hunting styles. Where are you in Washington? I feel your pain in the knee department; I'm going on my second ever hunt in the hills above Tonasket where my cousin lives. Lots of walking up and down hills, and my knee twinged quite a bit 2 years ago, back when they mostly felt good. Not looking forward to it as much this year.
