Quote:The ATF has responded to a report that came out earlier today on Town Hall which seemed to show that the ATF was already planning on banning M855 5.56 ammunition, which is a popular round with AR-15 owners, before the public comment period was over.
According to a press release put out by the ATF, the agency is calling the inclusion of M855 among banned ammunition as “publishing error”.
