This is not his preference due to the metal getting pretty thin around the crown and bore for a 6.5 caliber round. If that comes to light, then we will discuss cutting the barrel back at a last resort but at least for now there is a little glimmer of light. Will be sending off the barrel this week. Should be able to get it back sometime later next week.
That's good news. Now no worries at all about loosing accuracy.
