Yep, New TBAC 30CB9 came in after a three month wait. Jumping with joy, the Grendel got put up on the bench to remove the AA brake and install the TBAC brake only to find this......

This is the first time I have ever seen this done. Threaded barrel but no shoulder. Anyone else seen this before? Already got the Grendel tore down to send the barrel and brake off. One good thing is now the brake can be timed properly without the use of shims.
