One of the things with the original Eotechs is that a lot of guys were jacking theirs up so they could direct-exchange for the newer models that ran on AA batteries when they were introduced. They have been a primary go-to optic over the Aimpoint in Tier 1 units for about a decade, if that means anything. The above XPS 2-2 with the two different dots would be nice for drop at distance, using the lower dot. The biggest question is whether or not you want magnification. I personally would lean towards a 1-4x from Vortex, just so I could have the option to dial up and see what I could squeeze out of the Beo at distance, or make more precise shots on reactive targets like watermelon, soda jugs filled with alka-seltzer, Tannerite-packed refrigerators, and so forth. Isn't that what Beo's are for......?
