I have a Rem Mod 7, should I go 6.5 Grendel or 6.5 Creedmoore?

I have to beg to differ with some of the comments here...I can load my bolt Grendel to much longer than the AR magazine (I wouldn't say Grendel is optimized for AR magazines, but rather limited by the AR magazine) and achieve results unobtainable with the AR. Does it match 260 Rem or 6.5 Creedmoor?...No, but it is close (and still mild to shoot).

If you plan on reloading, then the you can maximize the Grendel (or go with Von Gruff's "Max Grendel") cartridge capability. I was able to achieve 2575 fps muzzle velocity in an accuracy node with 129 Interbonds...(AA factory 129 SST measured 2380 fps on the same day)...that's nearly a 200 fps increase!

I've shot over a hundred rounds in a day at BoomerShoot (over 400 during the weekend) with no discomfort. Using Viper PST 2.5-10x scope without parallax adjustment, it was easy to hit 4 inch square targets at 400 yards (with AA factory rounds).

If you plan on only shooting factory ammo, then perhaps something else is better suited...260 Remington or 243 Winchester.
