I found some more information about it, and it is in fact a shortened SR25 bolt carrier group:

That must be the overall length of the entire BCG, not the carrier. For comparison:
SR-25 Bolt Carrier: 7 7/8"
AR15 Bolt Carrier: 6 11/16"
Colt 901 Bolt Carrier: 7 1/4"
