I am seriously meticulous (Chargemaster preliminary, adjusted on a Sartorius AY123 to ±0.02gn) with most of our reloads (.300 BLK intended for CQB shoot-em-up-on-steel is the sole exception, Chargemaster only). I do most in the daylight since I have observed that the nearby bright LED light wreaks havoc on the piezoelectric Sartorious AY123, presumably from RF. Interestingly the same light doesn't influence the nearby HF/UHF transceiver (HF is in a different location). I'd like to upgrade to a magnetic force restoration scale, eliminating the drift and RF susceptibility, but Sartorious discontinued their GD103 and I have found no equivalent unit at a sane price.

Seeing no published MAX over 31.5gn for CFE223/123gn projectiles, I am hesitant about going higher, especially in an AR—though that 2700 fps you mentioned is tempting.
