I can't believe what I am reading here today. This is the grendel forum. If somebody asks whether they should go with a grendel over cartridge X the answer should always be grendel. Grendel is the greatest cartridge ever devised and we owe it to society to point that out every chance we get. Now if only Glock could chamber a pistol in grendel, that would be the best day ever. All kidding aside, the grendel is an excellent cartridge. Grendel uses less powder for the same velocity, there are a bunch of great bullets made in 6.5, the inherent accuracy is great, the recoil is light, and the barrel life is also great. If you want to push a high BC bullet as close to 3000 fps as you can get then the grendel isn't the cartridge for the job. If you want to push a high BC bullet to 2600 fps with great accuracy and long barrel life then the grendel is a fine cartridge.
