Yes, Guys I will be offering a package deal for Carriers, Bolts, BCM Charging handles, Gas blocks, Gas Tubes, and Hand guards.
Update on bolt.
Frank was given a sample bolt by someone for reverse engineering and it ended up being a 7.62x39 bolt. I caught this on the first inspection and this was among the changes I advised along with several other changes in correlation with Frank at Maxim. The NEW bolt face depth is .136". Anyway do to the first mistake and our current need for 7.62x39 bolts too, I bought all of them. These are being black nitrided now and if any one here needs a 7.62x39 bolt, we will have them available in about 2 weeks. Completely assembled Bolts with Gas rings, Extractor, and Ejector is $65.00 for Forum members only. Normal retail will be $75.00. These are 9310 "Super Enhanced" Bolts for 7.62x39. Do not even think about using them for Grendels!!!

Mark do you and Frank have a time line for the Grendel bolts?
Will the package include the option of adding a billet upper receiver?

Yes Our Billet Upper will also be offered. We are also working on a Light Weight Billet model that will be available in about 6 weeks.

Assuming this estimate was regarding the bolt lead time?
If you are keeping an informal tally of requested parts so you have enough on hand when the orders are ready to be placed, I am in for 2 complete BCG's and 2 spare bolts.

I hope they made 500 bolts. I think thay will sell that many fast.
Poor timing on my part, will be out of the country for about 3 weeks and would hate to miss this opportunity. I have posted previously a request for a bolt when they should become available, now, hoping someone capable of doing so, might save me a spot in line for one of these. I'm not sure how the internet connections will be as I will be shipboard. Won't really know till I get there. Well I'll do what I can from abroad and see how this all develops. If your afraid of missing out, they have Bolts on hand at LBC for $85. Get them while they do and if there available here when you get back, have a spare.

We are running 250 on first lot, then 200 per month. If we need to increase volume we will do that.

Was it ever decided whether these bolts from this new manufacturer would be available with Nickel Boron coating on them? I have three NiBor bolt carriers waiting for Grendel bolts and it would be nice if the bolts would also be coated.

I am not sure but I'll give my .02. NiB-X is a coating. Adding that to the bolt will change the measurements on the pin for the extractor, other small internal parts seating areas and tolerances where all the other pieces move. I was told this by the bolt guy, Maxim. and he said he does do that for Bolt Carriers and knows they are going to be coated so the measurements are adjusted accordingly. That being said, there might be another coating used that does not add a layer but does present a different finish.
I use JP LMBC in Shiny SS. You see that because I don't have an ejection cover so it looks nice. The bolt is black and you never see it so to me the best thing is the toughest finish is need and I want that on the bolt no matter what it looks like. Again, just my opinion and info I've learned on this trend here on the Forum.

Tedward, really nice looking gun! what upper receiver is that? JP Handguard?

The upper is a DPMS Low Profile also referred to as the DPMS Slick Side Upper. https://www.google.com/search?q=dpms+sli...=firefox-a These are a super tight fit the the lower receiver providing no movement right to left. They are extra thick and great for customizing. I use these on Beowulfs and mil open the ejection ports for the large case to eject. No extra snag points either like a forward assist. Really don't need it for my use, I'm not on the front line or in Law enforcement where the shot may require jamming a round into the chamber.
The Hand Guard is a Nordic Components who actually makes the JP Hand-guard but uses a different barrel nut. I milled mine at a 45degree angle to give it the custom look. As you notice i also had to mil the upper to fit my Loki Lower Receiver in the back area.
