I Have a suggestion for the gun banners in the government. The advice of the NRA was to put armed guards in our schools and were chastised for it. So I suggest that the white house, legislature buildings, Supreme court and any other place our representatives work be declared gun free zones. If it is good enough for our school children it should be good enough for them. They should practice what they preach. They should lead by example. Do you agree?

The "putting armed guards" in schools in not so far fetched. In my town our middle schools and high school already have assigned police officers that work only in the school and are there any time the students are there. This had been policy now for several years.

I have to say this- There is a Police Officer at the school where I work. Makes me feel better that no idiot has attacked a school where an armed officer is on station. But it's a great idea to make those who remove our rights live by the same rules, even if there's no way in hell they'll follow them. Same is true with Obamacare. Congress and elites aren't going to give up their great health care while forcing us to use that piece of crap. Gun Free zones are a joke. People like me go to work unarmed and the shooter walks in the front door. Logic dictates that the criminal won't follow the rules, that's the nature of crime. So the only people punished are those who follow the rules. Time to let congress know that we won't stand for them penalizing us, the law abiding because of some crazy criminal. The thing that scares me is that if there's enough idiots to elect Obama in this country, then banning guns might be easy. What a screwed up situation.

I find it ironic that the first thing all of the schools around me (and probably around the country) did after Sandy Hook was put police in the schools for the next week or so. Now, many of the schools around here are talking about making this permanent. What? So it's crazy when the NRA suggests it but it's the necessary response when a tragedy happens? They really do not see how they are proving out point.
