sub moa @100

Had a chance to go to the range yesterday. My second group @ 100 was a little over .25 moa. I was pumped. Best group I have ever shot with any rifle! Much less a 16 inch tube.
At 200 my best group was 1 1/2 inch. The rifle ran great. I just need to practice. I did
not have time to shoot @ 300. I will post a picture of the group when I get a chance.
I would like to thank Alexander Arms for such a fine cartridge and rifle!

awesome, at the longer distances, for me anyway, its harder to get a super tight group because the targets I use have such a small center and lines on them, the cross hairs cover too much.

And that the problem for many shooters - using a target that is not "best" for the reticle and distance. Have a look through some of these and you will find a suitable target for your particular needs.

Here is the tight group I was speaking of. I have not loaded the groups at 200. I will
when I get the chance. I am proud of this with a 16 inch tube. [attachment=1781]

I had a group close to this with my old O3A3 Springfield, but not quite this
tight.

I forgot to mention this target is the Larue target with the 1/4 grid. I like to fill in the middle of the target ( 1 inch box, 4 squares) with a black
marker. I pulled right off the website.
Now I want to upgrade my scope to at least a Vortex 6X24X50 FFP MRAD. I think this is the best one for the money next to a Nightforce.
It will be a while before I can do this.....

I keep forgetting things...
I thought it was interesting that I was sighted in around 1 1/2 inches high at 100 and at 200 it was right on the money. I thought it would of been lower
than that with a 16 inch tube due to velocity.

Very nice. What groups are typical for your carbine to group at? Looking forward to the 200yd groups.

I have only shot it a couple of times. Once with the new trigger. I am not sure what is typical yet? Hope to average 1/2 MOA @100 I guess.
I know the new trigger really helped my out. My shooting buddy was with me. He taught me to hold the trigger back for a couple of seconds
after each shot. I started doing this at 200 and started improving. Next time I want to shoot some 123 Scenars. I have a feeling these will be
better a longer ranges.
