Hello from Southern Illinois

Thought I'd sign in to get more info on the 6.5 Grendel. I'm getting ready for my next build and The grendel is on my short list. I'll be researching and picking your brains to find out if this is the caliber for me.

Welcome, Dave! If I remember from my travels, southern IL is good 65G country, quite flat. Or is that central IL?

Hey John,
My part of Southern Illinois is very hilly and heavily forrested. I can still find areas to stretch out a long range caliber. I currently shoot 5.56, 6.5X55, 308, 300Win Mag and others. The 6.5 grendel should be similar to my 6.5 swedes in an AR frame.
