Started this build back in April. Waited for what seemed like forever for the barrel, but got it and the other parts. Hopefully I will get to shoot it this weekend.

Few questions, If you dont mind (I ask because I'm building one almost identical to yours)

1. Does your charging handle rub the receiver?
I heard from more than one person that its a problem with other brands (Not mentioning name intentionally to avoid bashing a product I have no personal experience with)

2. Have you put it on a lower yet? and if you did, how did you like the right compared to left side charger?

I haven't heard of any rubbing yet, but mine is a AA and it does not rub the receiver and I have mounted it to a lower and it shoots great. This is the first time I assembled an upper and it was very easy. Sounds like you have a good plan.

I have the Alexander Arms upper receiver and it doesnt rub at all. Even after firing the thing probably 100 rounds or a little over it touches it nowhere.
