That's pretty awsome. It looks like a DI SCAR-H with a QD barrel and handguard. I'd be interested to see how the bolt carrier group functions being a DI rifle with a folding stock...unless this is using one of those folding stock adapters that doesn't allow it to fire unless the stock is engaged. Also, it looks like the barrel nut is just hand tightened; I'd be interested to know if this affects accuracy.

This article says the return spring is integrated into the upper receiver. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2012/...own-rifle/ I think the operator has the torque wrench built into his wrist watch. In watching the video it seems like he spends most of his time getting the barrel into the receiver.

The barrel nut is a very fine thread and takes quite a bit to fully engage. Its a pain but thats how it is. The upgrades include every 308 combo you can think of down to a 1:5.8 for the very heavy bullets and very short barrels.

The 6.5 Creedmore in a 22" is working out for long range and penetration. Like the Grendel on steroids

BUT...the coolest is the 460 ??? From an ex 6.5G guy. Take a 460 S&W cut a 308 rim in place of the external rim, then load a 300 gr frangible. Makes Ships a very bad place to hide...And no more self inflicted wounds from rebounds.

Just clear the gun and switch the barrel. no muss and no fuss.
