Yeah, I saw it on their site several months ago, when I was contemplating buying a Franklin Armory carbine.

Yes. We've talked about it on other forums quite a while back, along with the legality of the Magpul AFGs on AR/AK pistols. The former seem to be exempt from NFA status due to length, the latter OK because the precise nomenclature of "VFG" being prohibited.
