Hello all! Been eyeballing a grendel for awhile. Ended up getting a howa 1500 mini 22" barrel. I know the grendel is more of an AR deal, but possibly down the road I'll get one! Can't wait to read through all the good info!

Welcome to the forum Bugg! There are a lot of forum members who only own a bolt action 6.5 Grendel. I have a Few AR-15’s in 6.5 Grendel plus a Cz 527 6.5 Grendel. Careful the 6.5 Grendel can be very addictive.

Welcome to the clan, bugg, from the great nation of Texas. Many of us have Grendel built guns along with a bunch of MSR's in our toy boxes. Tell us if your goals. Maybe keep us up with an occasional pix or two.

Welcome aboard. I wish something like 6.5 Grendel had been available when I was a kid, even in a bolt gun.

Closest things would have been 6.5x54MS, and 250-3000 Savage I think.

Grendel gets it done with a much shorter COL, and therefore a shorter action.
